GLEBE BRETHAN FONDUE
- 500g Glebe Brethan diced
- 300ml dry white wine
- 1 tablespoon cornflour
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 1 loaf country or wheaten bread cut in cubes (each with a crust)
Method
Reserving 3 tablespoons of the wine, add the rest to a heavy saucepan and heat to simmering. Add cheese stirring with a wooden spoon until melted. Blend cornflour in a little cold wine, adding to fondue mixture until creamy. Season to taste.
Serve hot with chunks of bread speared on forks.
Serves 4 to 6.
GLEBE BRETHAN BREAKFAST
- 200g Glebe Brethan thin sliced
- Wheaten or good quality artisan bread
- Pure honey (we use Lannleire)
- Serving of almonds, apricots, hazlenuts
Method
Place a thin slice of Glebe Brethan on sliced bread.
Add a teaspoon of honey and 2 or 3 dried fruits to each serving.
Enjoy with a cup of coffee or tea.
